Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on Saturday said that the party’s Political Council and parliamentary majority meetings had focused on recent developments in Georgia, including within the ruling party, as well as the international political context.
Kobakhidze further responded to a journalist’s question about speculation circulated by the opposition ahead of the meetings.
“We discussed developments in the country in general, including within our team. We briefly touched on various issues. The foreign policy context is also very important, and naturally, it was discussed as well, with questions and answers on the matter. There had been some speculation on various issues, but the discussions focused primarily on current domestic and foreign policy matters”, he noted.
